SAK Construction has an immediate opening for a Mechanic in our O'Fallon, MO shop. The Mechanic is responsible to completing work following department rules and regulations according to specifications to ensure equipment/vehicles are properly maintained..

Responsibilities:

1. Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions as they arise
2. Perform preventative maintenance following operations manuals as well as electrical and hydraulic diagrams/ refrigeration units/ CCTV equipment/ Heat-Exchanger equipment
3. Remove and replace defective parts by dismantling devices using hand and power tools
4. Test repaired equipment to ensure proper performance when used
5. Routine maintenance, such as oil changes, tire rotation and placement, etc.
6. Perform related duties as requested in a team environment

Qualifications:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
2. Experience working in a Mechanic or Lube technician role is preferred
3. Ability to work with hands, lift heavy objects and stand on your feet for long periods of time often doing repetitive motions.
